By transmitting correction data via L-Band satellites and the NTRIP protocol, it ensures seamless compatibility with a wide range of GNSS receivers. Built for reliability, the Marinestar® GNSS network incorporates multiple redundancy layers to guarantee uninterrupted service.
It consists of two independent reference station networks, diverse receiver brands, dual Network Control Centers (NCCs) with additional backup facilities, multiple primary and backup uplink locations, and six L-Band satellites for correction data transmission.

GNSS corrections with Fugro Marinestar
Marinestar® offers a variety of correction services to match different operational needs. The G4+ service provides corrections for GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo, while the XP3 service delivers corrections for GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo using an independent reference station network. Additionally, RTCM corrections are available for legacy receivers, ensuring precise and adaptable positioning solutions.
