Easily log data from your INS
SBG Systems includes sbgCenter as a free software in the Inertial Software Development Kit (SDK), allowing users to log data seamlessly. When sbgCenter logs data, it buffers the data in RAM and saves it to disk at the end of the session. Simply connect your sensor to sbgCenter and start recording with one click.
After you save your *.sbgz project, you can open it as an sbgCenter project and access your configuration in read-only mode. You can also unzip the file to extract a binary log and a JSON file of your configuration, which you can use in our post-processing software, Qinertia.

Functionalities
Configure Your Inertial Units
Inertial units are used in many fields, and therefore require specific configuration in each case.
This is where our first software comes in: sbgCenter. This tool allows, after connecting the units (once they are installed), to configure them on a dedicated menu. The software allows, among other things, to assign the different communications to each of the 3 available ports, to define the transmission mode and speed.
In the case of external acquisition (binary file), it is also possible to configure the output data in the frame, to retrieve only the desired information and measurements. This configuration also requires entering the lever arms between the unit and the GNSS antennas, and between the unit and the vehicle’s center of gravity (similar to the center of the rear axle).
This data, in the form of coordinates in a three-dimensional space originating from the unit, allows it to position itself in relation to its antennas and in relation to the vehicle.
A tool that fits your needs
Our sensor settings can be modified, and the result is displayed in real time. The sbgCenter main window shows Euler Angles, Gyroscopes data, and 3D orientation.
All Advantages In One Place
sbgCenter allows you to visualize, configure and export motion data. The files obtained once the acquisition is complete are binary data files. These files can be replayed by the sbgCenter, and therefore allow the operation and performance of your sensor to be analyzed.
3D Orientation View
Various panels are available such as a 3D view representing the device orientation. Each graph view has zooming and panning capabilities allowing efficient data analysis.
Easy Recordings
Create and playback recordings. Thanks to the Timeline Control, you can finely analyze a recorded motion by travelling or zooming through the time.
