What is PointPerfect ™?
PointPerfect is a PPP-RTK GNSS correction service provided by u-blox. It combines the high accuracy of RTK with the flexibility of PPP, addressing the limitations of each technology.
While RTK offers high accuracy without convergence time, it requires a nearby base station. On the other hand, PPP eliminates the need for a base station but typically has a longer convergence time. PointPerfect optimizes both, providing precise positioning with no need for a local reference station and a much faster convergence time (few seconds) compared to traditional PPP.
What coverage is expected?
The PointPerfect broadcast provides uniform coverage across Europe, the contiguous USA, Canada, Brazil, South Korea, and Australia, extending up to 12 nautical miles (approximately 22 kilometers) off coastlines.
Check the coverage mapWhat accuracy can you achieve?
The horizontal accuracy of PointPerfect is between 3-6 cm.
Compatibility with our products?
PointPerfect corrections are transmitted via the internet or L-band satellite in two formats: SPARTN and NTRIP.
Our products support both formats but only through internet communication. L-band satellite reception requires an external L-band modem.
Available from:
